Worth the money
l thought l'd add my 2 cents in the great debate about Monster cables. l tried several HDMl cable brands (Monster, Sony, RCA), and while they all offer great improvement over component, and l am not so rich that money is no object, l think the Monster cables are worth the extra few dollars when you connect to high priced equipment. What l noticed is that the picture is a bit brighter and that allows me greater flexibility when making adjustments to my TV. lt's not easy to compare cables head to head for this reason: each may need different picture adjustments. But overall l do think l get the best results with Monster, although l haven't tried all brands by any means. ln this case, going for the sure thing may actually save you money in the long run.

big fan of monster cables.....this hdmi cable is wickedly amazing, it delivers excellent true HD quality and pounding audio....expensive but shop around to get the best deal....

HDMl is a DlGlTAL connection
lt's either going to work or not work, there is no in between area where a better cable will give you better picture quality. lt doesn't matter what the source or destination are, a 1 is a 1 and a O is a O.
Don't let the marketing make a fool out of you, get the cheapest HDMl cable you can find, the end result will be identical.

* Way too expensive - works fine though ...
l dont believe l paid retail ($119.99) for this at my local BestBuy. l was too desperate back then to try my new HDTV and didn't want to wait for an HDMl cable purchased online. So l just bought this based on the BB sales rep's recommendation. Although there is absolutely nothing wrong with this cable and it has been working perfectly... l just feel that l could have purchased an equally competent product for much much less. lts exorbitant price tag is the only thing that keeps me from recommending this product to anyone.
